Jacko & Yan
Macau Pre Wedding Hong Kong
24.04.2014
It is always exciting to let my client taking me to new places for photoshoot. Jacko and Yan wanted the style of pictures I do after seeing my work, they wanted some natural ones without looking like too much of the traditional Chinese pose ones.
The morning started at their apartment which was at Tin Shui Wai and you can see wetlandpark from their place. Becky was in charged of their makeup and hair for the special day. They have known each other for over 10 years and have been together for a long time so they told me they look forward to the photoshoot before we set off already. We first went up to Tai Mo Shan which wasn’t far from where they are and took some pictures there. I really enjoyed capturing the couples moment when you don’t need to pose them. After this we went to have lunch and head to a place where they used to do a lot of datings at – Nam Sang Wai.
They have their make up and hair changed when we got there so I went for a quick location hunt. When I got there I noticed this place has a lot of potential for some wicked pictures! It’s a massive park with a lot of trees and a big lake, when I went deeper and I discovered this old vintage house which you really can not find in a city like Hong Kong. They are almost ready when I walked back so I took them in the route that I planned. We went to take some pictures at the woods first then went towards the vintage house, we took some pictures on the way and eventually we got to the vintage house where we could do something cool.
After taking quite a few pictures there we heads toward the lake where I asked Jacko and Yan to have a deep kiss on the bridge. Then we went to this place where you can hire a boat to get across, we hired one and have some pictures taken and it was definitely an experience for all of us. We didn’t get across though as we don’t know when does the path end.
After that we ended up the photoshoot with Yan having the tile on. I took some invidual pictures of them on their own before the couple under the tile shoot.
