The Peak Shek O Hong Kong Engagement Photography

I have been very lucky with my photography since I have been back in Hong Kong and getting to work with couples who love my style and allow me to shoot how I want to which is amazing. I’ve had two very busy years since I have been back and I’ve been shooting and improving everyday.

I know the couple through Kelly who was also the wedding planner for Dave & Marie’s big day. Anyway she recommended me to SinYing who was with her fiancé in the US at the time. I am so glad they saw my work as western style and booked me for both pre wedding and wedding day before meeting me in person.

We did the photoshoot in March and because SinYing and Felipe were only back for a few days we got slightly worried about the weather when she landed. We were lucky enough to get a foggy day though, although I can feel the frustration from them until they see the pictures on my camera. I chose the Peak again as the first location (one of my favourites), since it is one of the highest spots to meet the mist. I used an orange gel with the flash to create some extra light and give the images a little more contrast. I will let you guys have a look at my work below, just remember you can always produce good work with good sense and skill and the weather doesn’t matter at all, in fact you could get more from it if you know how to use it well :)
