Wedding Day Photography

The Royal Garden wedding of Renee and Nick was an amazingly fun day to photograph.

It was a beautiful day with the sun beaming down and we had a blast capturing photos for this very happy and emotional couple.

A quick trip to Kwun Tong Promenade also allowed us a great opportunity to capture some loving moments and some fun group shots with the wedding party.

Why The Royal Garden Wedding venue?

Order of the wedding day

We always look forward to photographing a Royal Garden wedding.

As a team of Hong Kong wedding photographers we know the venue well as brides often get ready at this prime location in Tsim Sha Tsui.

Renee and Nick based themselves at the Royal Garden hotel but also ventured out throughout the day.

This was great for us as it provided a variance of locations throughout Hong Kong.

Here are some of our highlights from throughout the day.

More information about our wedding photography services can be found here.

Morning Preparations

The makeup artist was scheduled to arrive at the Royal Garden nice and early at 6:15am. Renee had 6 bridesmaids and they all arrived and hour later so they could all get ready together. All the bridesmaids helped Renee in to her Chinese Kua before her parents came in to apply the finishing touches. As with most weddings we photograph this resulted in some lovely emotional shots.

Gate Crashing Games

Shortly after Renee was ready Nick arrived at the hotel lobby. The bridesmaids had arranged some fun door games for Nick and his groomsmen. A particularly fun one to capture was of them recreating romantic pre wedding poses. This part of the day always makes for some great documentary photography as every one is having fun and usually can’t stop laughing.

Kwun Tong Promenade

Having the opportunity to get outside for some photographs on your wedding day is always something we recommend.  Renee and Nick chose to visit Kwun Tong Promenade in Kwun Tong, New Kowloon. This is a great place to go for photos as it provides greenery as well as being on the waters edge.

Same Day Edit Slideshow

Typically our couples choose a photography package that includes a same day edit slideshow. This is a great chance to show your evening guests what you have been up to on your wedding day. It also means you get a sneak preview of your wedding photographs as well as anything you might of missed. We usually display this as a large projection at your wedding reception and it was no different at this Royal Garden wedding. Renee and Nick were really happy with their same day edit slideshow and it went down really well with their family and friends.
