Announcing our Photography Tour 2018

We are lucky as one of the biggest Hong Kong wedding photography studios that we have shot a wide variety of weddings in various locations.

The choice a couple has when choosing their wedding photographer at the moment is bigger than ever.

There are lots of different styles of wedding photography and we understand that it can be confusing for a newly engaged couple.

Unlike other wedding photographers we don’t set out to follow trends or styles that are popular at the time. Instead we like to think we have forged our own style of wedding photography and this has always been down to the variance in what we shoot.

As you probably know we travel all over the world shooting weddings and pre weddings in some of the best locations on the planet.

We have a passion for travel and love to experience new and exciting cultures along the way.

Our tour dates for overseas wedding and pre wedding photography in 2018 are as follows.

Japan  05/03/2018 – 12/03/2018

Japan can be the ideal wedding location if you are looking for a wedding that is completely different.

As a destination it is completely unique and there is nowhere else on earth that can seamlessly blend the weird with the elegant and the traditional with the futuristic.

Photography in Japan is an absolute dream as it has a mix of intricate architecture and amazing natural landscapes.

As you will be aware if you are considering getting married in Japan and either you or your partner are non-citizens of Japan you will need to make sure you receive permission from your local embassy or consulate before you can continue.

We will be in Japan from the 5th of March for a week.

Having photographed weddings there in the past we can assure you that you won’t be disappointed if you book us to shoot your wedding or pre wedding photography.

There is currently limited availability for our time in Japan but we are always keen to head back to this eclectic location. Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you would like us to photograph your event in Japan in the future.

U.K. – 26/03/2018 – 02/04/2018

We are shooting a wedding on the 29th of March in Sheffield so have availability for photographing in Sheffield and the surrounding area.

Additionally we are available throughout the U.K. for shoots in the lead up to the 29th and after the wedding date.

Portugal – 03/04/2018 – 06/04/2018

After our short stay in the U.K. we instantly head out to Portugal.

This is a lovely country and the weather should be perfect for wedding photography.

As you will know Macau was a Portuguese territory until 1999 and therefore we get a lot of enquiries from couples from both Macau and Hong Kong wanting to take photos there.

Our team spent some time in Portugal last year soaking up the sun and shooting some amazing images.

We are in fact shooting the pre wedding session of one of our team members, Tom whilst we are in Portugal. It will be interesting for him to be on the other side of the camera and hopefully he can gain some insight in to what it is like to be the one being photographed.

Some places we recommend for photography in Portugal are locations on The Algave:

-Albifeira Harbour and its Old Town
-Some of the stunning beaches around Lago
-The towns of Vilamoura and Loule

U.K. – 07/04/2018 – 10/09/2019

We are in the U.K. for roughly 5 months from late March through to the end of September. We have availability in this time frame for a wide variety of photographic endeavours.

We find that many couples from Hong Kong choose us to take their photos in the U.K.

This could be because our lead photographer, Koda, spent ten years there building his business before expanding in to Hong Kong.

As a wedding photography studio we are very familiar with locations throughout Europe. The main destination people tend to choose is London and it’s surrounding areas such as Oxford and Cambridge.

In the past we have travelled as far as Newcastle and even did a photoshoot with a couple at the Newcastle United Football Stadium.

We believe we are in a unique position with our wealth of knowledge and experience of the U.K.

There are lots of venues we can recommend for photography and we have built up strong relationships with wedding venues and suppliers over the years.

Our schedule for U.K. weddings and pre weddings is already quite busy.

New Zealand – 03/10/2018 – 08/10/2018

Each year we spend a couple of days shooting in the wonderful landscapes that New Zealand has to offer.

Recently we have shot commercial images for the outdoor clothing company http://www.eikowada.com/ . This was a great opportunity to shoot something other than weddings and allows us freedom to try out new techniques.

We shot these commercial photographs with a real couple so we could still incorporate an element of our comfort zone. However, the sole purpose of the shoot was to show off the clothing to the best of our ability rather than focussing on the connection between the couple. Obviously this is something we try to do with a brides dress and a grooms suit on their wedding day but it isn’t our primary focus.

We’re in New Zealand for roughly five days and already have four half day pre wedding shoots scheduled in.

Our hope is to accommodate an additional four half days or two full day pre wedding shoots in order to make the most of our time in this fabulous country.

Bali – 09/10/2018 – 21/10/2018

Bali is roughly a five hour plane ride from our home city of Hong Kong and a very popular destination for couples to get married.

In recent years we have seen this popularity soar to new levels and have been lucky enough to shoot some amazing weddings here.

It truly is an honour to be a wedding photographer at we really appreciate the trust a couple puts in us to capture their special day.

We are in Bali for 12 days this year and at present only have one wedding booked in whilst we are there. The couple have booked a pre wedding session and their wedding is scheduled over three days.

Hong Kong – 22/10/2018 onwards

Our primary focus as a team of Hong Kong wedding photographers is to shoot weddings in our fabulous city.

As one of the most popular wedding photography studios in Hong Kong we get booked up quite early for weddings.

However, as a pre wedding shoot can be on any day of the week we are usually much more flexible in that regard. Additionally as we have a large team of highly trained photographers we can do multiple shoots on the same day.

All our images are edited by our master photographer Koda in order to maintain a highly polished and consistent look to our images no matter who has taken them.

Hong Kong has a wealth of gorgeous locations to take photos and we really couldn’t recommend them highly enough to couples looking to book with us.
